A few years ago I got up early and prayed in the Spirit for about two hours. It was just beginning to dawn. I walked outside into our backyard to view the beauty of our rose garden and our very tall green hedge and beautiful green lawn, tipped with the sparkle of water from the sprinklers. There was a wonderful smell coming from the beauty God was sharing with me. Suddenly I no longer saw all that beauty. I was totally awake, but my vision was consumed with a new picture -
I saw the whole earth covered with people. They were under nets that covered the whole earth. Jesus was larger than the earth standing over it with His arms outstretched, palms down. The nets were attached to each of His fingers. Someone on the earth would cry out "Over here, Jesus." And He would turn and move toward them with a jerking robot type motion. Then another cry came, "Over here, Jesus" and He would turn toward that cry with the same robotic motion and on and on and on the cry and response continued. In the background, dark clouds began to form and move toward Jesus. They were dark, nasty, swirling clouds and as they arrived over Jesus, they started moving downward over Jesus like a curtain. They were frightening, dark, ominous, swirling clouds that slowly moved until they totally covered Jesus; then the entire earth and all the people under the nets were covered by darkness. When they had covered the whole picture - there was a sudden change and the whole picture snapped to beautiful whirling, translucent white clouds covering the entire picture. They began moving upward revealing the earth and all the people over the world, who were now no longer covered by nets. Then the clouds moved upward revealing Jesus, but He was standing with His right arm at His side. His left arm was folded across His waist. He was holding new nets neatly folded over His heart. The amazing white clouds just hovered over Jesus. Suddenly the vision disappeared and I was aware of my backyard. I prayed, "Lord, I don't understand what you have just shown me. Please interpret it to me."
This is the best I can do describing the vision, but I really don't know if it can be communicated by my words. There were so many thoughts, motion, color, emotion and scriptures conveyed to me as well. In one thought I was reminded of the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) team who fasted and prayed all night on a ship docked in Greece. The next morning when they left and walked the beach, the fish literally started jumping out of the water and landed at their feet on the beach. There were so many fish that it was on TV and in the news in Greece. God is of course making us fishers of men with new nets - "the love of God that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit." I believe God is calling us to a deep commitment to fasting and prayer.
Right after I had the vision, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me - "My people have made me a mechanical Jesus with traditions and doctrines of men. Great storms are coming, but tell my people not to fear the storms for they are bringing My Glory with them. My heart is to give you new nets. And when I throw My nets over the world, people will run to get into them for they will recognize that they are the ark of safety.
As He spoke to me I felt impressed to read Ephesians 3, 4, 5 and 6 to mature us, equip us, unify us, and prepare us for battle with the knowledge of the Son of God "to a perfect man, to measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." We are being called not only to be the family of God, but as soldiers of the cross. I am hearing the command, "Onward Christian Soldiers". He is calling us to be not only watchmen on the wall, but "Mighty Men of Valor", courageous soldiers full of faith, standing in the storms with much fasting and prayer. Shouting! (Ephesians 5:14) 'Awake thou that sleepeth and call on the Name of the Lord", to the Body of Christ.
He also reminded me of Deuteronomy 8:2. God will use these storms to humble us. Then He will test us to see if we have built our houses on Solid Rock in the storms so they will stand. Then He will show us our hearts that are wicked and deceitful. When you see your heart in the Light of His Glory, it will break you. He is using the storms to break up fallow ground so He can reveal His heart to us. Then we as His body can reveal His heart to the world. Then He will give us power to get wealth and riches of His glory. He will demonstrate His covenant with us.
Father God is getting ready to fulfill Jesus' prayer of John 17.
After He shows us our hearts He causes us to hunger. He has prepared for us a table in the presence of our enemies. He has told us we can come boldly into His throne room to eat, commune and have intimacy with Him. Then we can invite others to come and eat at our table He has prepared for us. He will give us gifts according to the state of a King as He did for Esther. He reveals His heart to us so we can share it with the world, and "The apple of His eye," Israel! His heart is where Justice and Mercy kissed. God is Love! that is the heart pumping the power of His Blood through His Body as He prepares her to be a Bride to be presented to our Bridegroom. It's all going to happen Suddenly! The birth pangs have already begun. We must travail and prevail as His Glory fills the earth. We will see the counterfeit coming with lying signs and wonders. We must pray the Holy Spirit will stir up the gifts in us. We need the gift of discerning of spirits operating in us to help us recognize the counterfeit. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit who is the Teacher of Truth! If you study the real, you will know the difference between the Truth and the counterfeit. Sin cannot exist in God's Glory!
We are going to see signs in the heavens and in the earth. We are going to do greater things than Jesus did on the earth. We will see all the miracles in the Word manifested, but the main purpose is to win souls for the final harvest. Everything will be shaken as in Matthew 24. Also Luke 1:50-55 shows how He's going to (52) shake up the political structure of the nations, (51) the social structure, (53) the economic structure. He is going to help (54) Israel and Manifest His mercy and bless (55) the Jews and His seed forever. We are the seed of Abraham in Christ Jesus and heirs to the promises which are Yes and Amen. The purpose of all of this will be to win souls for Jesus! We will see the transfer of wealth out of the hands of the wicked and into the hands of the Righteous - the purpose to win souls and support the kingdom on earth.
It is Harvest Time! We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem and protect God's people and their land. The Glory they see will make them jealous and they will be drawn to their Messiah. Repent and rise up to your positions in the Lord. The glory is hovering over Jesus. Soon the trump will sound and we will join Him.
Glory to the Lamb of God, the Holy One of Israel.
We must prepare the way.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
